FerroNATS presents its human resources best practices in Lisbon as part of HiPAir Project

This initiative is aimed at helping SMEs in the aeronautics sector be more competitive by improving human resource management

FerroNATS is one of the partner companies in the HiPAir Project, a project co-funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ programme. The project aims to identify and develop High-Performance Work Practices (HPWP) in human resources management at SMEs in the aeronautics sector.

The project was launched in September 2015 and involves partners from Poland, Portugal, Spain and Turkey. In order to better understand the current state of small- and medium-sized enterprises in the sector, HiPAir aims to create tools and materials that can help these companies be more competitive by improving human resource management, as well as improve organisation and increase productivity and efficiency.

As part of the project, various meetings are held in the countries of its main partners: Spain, Poland, Turkey and Portugal. The conclusions from the meetings held in each country with partner companies will be presented and debated at these events, and the project status will be reviewed in order to plan the next steps. On 27 October, the second of these international meetings was held in Lisbon. FerroNATS presented its initiatives in terms of human resources, placing special focus on its individual development programmes, professional career path definition and Secondment Programme.

FerroNATS and the other partner companies established their positions ahead of the next meeting, which will take place in Madrid in November, with a view to continuing their collaboration and sharing knowledge in terms of human resource management.
