FerroNATS obtains ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification

Since July, the nine control towers under the company´s management and its head offices have an integrated quality and environmental management system that has been verified and certified by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO).

FerroNATS’s commitment to the provision of excellent service standards has helped it to have its air traffic control services at the nine towers under its management and its head offices certified under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

The quality management system certified under the international ISO 9001 benchmark guarantees the company’s service quality standards as well as the quality of its process and customer service control and efficiency. The ISO 14001 standard, meanwhile, is a testimony to the existence of the elements needed to configure an effective environmental management system designed to enable the company strike the right balance between defending its profitability and reducing its environmental footprint.

FerroNATS has made a significant effort to align quality processes across its everyday control tower management tasks. According to Borja Martín, who heads up quality management at FerroNATS, “the interest and enthusiasm displayed by all of the company’s employees in this project has been vital to achieving these amazing results in scarcely one year”.

These two certificates come on the heels of OHSAS 18001 certification, the benchmark occupational health and safety certificate, obtained by the company last February.

FerroNATS plans to continue to work hard to keep its management system criteria updated and renew its certifications as required.
