FerroNATS operations begin in Sevilla Control Tower

On the 12th of September FerroNATS began its operations of the air traffic control tower in Sevilla Airport.

The first flight managed by FerroNATS took place on Thursday at 6.45 am with the departure of a Vueling flight to Paris. The transition period of this tower began on September 2012.

The airport handles mainly commercial scheduled and charter flights. The usual national destinations are Barcelona and Madrid. The airport also handles a significant level of international traffic from European Union countries, with most passengers coming from Paris and Bergamo.

In 2012 the airport processed 4,292,020 passengers, 48.520 movements and 4.773 tonnes of cargo.

Sevilla is the seventh tower liberalized by FerroNATS, in addition to Sabadell, Cuatro Vientos, Jerez, Vigo, La Coruña and Valencia.
